• I embrace email’s asynchronous nature and typically batch-process emails once per day
• Feel free to email at any time, including weekends or late hours
• Standard response time is within one business day
• For urgent matters, please mark your email accordingly

What motivates me?

TLDR: Anything sort of problem with a positive impact that can benefit from an algorithmic / AI based approach.

I very much love to tackle problems from all different kind of disciplines with methods from computer science. Here are some areas I have had past projects in:

• algorithms for mass spectrometry drift correction
• machine learning for medical applications
• training self supervised models (contrastive representation learning)
• distributed systems
• large language models
• full stack work (servers, databases, real-time web apps, web frameworks)

Few things I am allergic too

While I’m generally easy-going, I have a few key principles that guide my work:

• I appreciate early communication about deadlines to avoid last-minute rushes
• Transparency and honesty are essential
• Taking responsibility and being upfront when things don’t go as planned

I’m most excited to collaborate with people who: - Are focused on solving real-world problems - Care about the broader impact of their work - Value long-term solutions over quick fixes
